The Mentorship Launch lunch is meant to introduce new mentees, their mentors and their cohort to the Olympic Sports & Spine (OSS) New Hire Mentorship Program. The OSS New-Hire Mentorship program is a standardized, year-long onboarding and clinical development program designed to support newly hired clinicians Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), and Athletic Trainers (AT) as they transition into independent orthopedic practice within the OSS model of care. The program combines structured mentorship, standardized educational programming, evidence-based learning, and clinical application to promote a consistency of patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration across the organization. 
The OSS New Hire Mentorship Program spans twelve months and consists of six rotating educational modules based on four pillars: 
  1. Clinic caseload rounds
  2. Protected Clinical mentorship 
  3. Evidence-based didactic curriculum 
  4. Weekend skills labs. 
Clinicians/mentees enter the current module upon hire and complete all six modules during their first year of employment, regardless of start date. Entrance begins once the designated clinic Mentor and Mentee attend the Launch Lunch meeting.
