In this hands-on youth woodworking class, students will learn the basics of woodworking while building their own Shaker-style wall shelf.
What You'll Learn
Students will practice measuring, marking, cutting, sanding, drilling, and assembling wood while learning proper tool use and shop safety. The project introduces students to traditional Shaker design and craftsmanship while giving them the opportunity to create a functional piece they can be proud to take home.
