Vaea Dang

I grew up in French Polynesia, and Huahine is the island I call home.

For one week, I’ll welcome a small group of just 8 watercolor participants to experience the island beyond the postcard — through painting, the lagoon, local places and people, shared meals, and the slower rhythm of island life.

We’ll paint together every day, but no previous watercolor experience is necessary. This retreat is as much about seeing, exploring, and experiencing Huahine as it is about watercolor.

We’ll stay at Le Mahana Hotel, my family’s hotel, directly on the lagoon.

Booking deadline: September 30, 2026
A $1,500 deposit per person secures your reservation.
The remaining balance is due December 20, 2026.

Solo travelers are very welcome. Single occupancy is the default option for solo travelers, and we never pair guests who don’t know each other.
