Portmeirion Village, West Wales
Come & enjoy 3 days (& 3 nights) staying in one of Portmeirion's self catering cottages during the winter season, a quieter time to enjoy the beauty of this popular place. The village overlooks the Dwyryd Estuary & has it's own beach. We have a choice of coastal walks or it's just a short drive into the countryside.
Porthmadog is 3 miles away which has a number of shops & places to eat out (if you don't want to self cater). Castell Deudraeth by the entrance to Portmeirion also serves meals & drinks.
Accommodation will be in 2 self catering cottages and consists of double / twin rooms . There is one single room (£50 supplement).
For twin rooms, I will only book 2 male / females at the same time to ensure the room is filled. Bedding & towels are provided. There is free parking on site. Bring your own breakfast & pack lunch food. Communal meals in your house may be arranged (depending on your house share). If we fill all the places we should have a little spare money to do an in house meal one night. Some people may like to have a meal out on one evening.
Walks of a moderate grade will be planned but any contributions ( ideas for walks / walk leaders wishing to do a specific walk ) will be welcome .
