Slipper Club is a version of Slipper Camp with more live sessions and a range of teachers. Like Slipper Camp it has the rigour of a boot camp and is intended for students who are becoming familiar with my pedagogical approach to voice through having studied with me in group classes or privates. The “Club” offers live online classes twice a week, as well as a library of recorded classes available on Vimeo.

The familiar format of a “Slipper’ maintains what you have learned, builds stamina, instils a reliable warm-in and prepares you for deeper work — but they do not take the place of the individual attention experienced in a Group Classes, which will return in January 2027.

Slipper Club teaching is shared by Fides and eight of her teacher training graduates. It is an excellent opportunity to experience EIV through the bodies and souls of a variety of practitioners.

All Slipper Camps are live on Zoom. The bulk of the 27 Slipper classes will be recorded and uploaded to Vimeo for 24hour access! Recordings will be uploaded within 48h of each class, and will remain available until the next round of recordings in early 2027.

Slipper Camp is a drop-in class: attend and view recordings flexibly as suits your schedule.

EIV graduate teachers

rebecca bruton (she/her) is a composer-performer from Calgary, Alberta who took her first lesson with Fides in the Spring of 2016.

Aviva Chernick (she/her) is a singer who has been studying with Fides Krucker since 2006. She is a graduate of the first cohort of the EIV teacher training (2023) and has been facilitating EIV training since then.

Alex Fallis (he/him) is a theatre artist who has collaborated with Fides Krucker in a variety of ways (as co-creator, director, student, walking partner, etc.) for more than 15 years.

Susannah Hood (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist (primarily dance and music) who has been studying and working artistically with Fides Krucker since 1998. She is a graduate of the first cohort of the EIV teacher training (2023) and has been facilitating both private, semi-private and group classes with a focus on this method since that time.

Alaine Hutton is a theatre creator and performer who has been studying with Fides since 2013. You may know her as one half of Lester Trips (Theatre), or one half of Fides' Admin Team.

Lauren Gillis is a theatre creator and performer who has been studying with Fides since 2013. You may know her as one half of Lester Trips (Theatre), or one half of Fides' Admin Team.

Shannon Kingsbury (she/her) is a musician and educator who has been mentored by Fides Krucker since 2022.

Katie Mazzini (she/her) is an actor/writer/producer based in Chicago, Illinois, who has been working with Fides since 2015. 

Gabriel Thom Pasculli (he/they) is a performer, theater director and teacher at Union College in Schenectady, NY. Gabriel Thom began collaborating with Fides from 2015-2019 with Wender Collective in Chicago and has been studying in the EIV studio since then.
