Once a Year at 1217 is our annual tradition of intentional gift-giving — a day when we offer sustainable gift wrapping. The selection is curated. Stories. Pieces. Objects that carry meaning.

Special requests welcome. Tell us who you're shopping for, what they love, what they want and we'll do our best to hunt down exactly what you're looking for from our archive.

Every gift wrapped with intention, complimentary. Our team will wrap your purchases in sustainable materials — fabric scraps, recycled paper, natural twine — so the wrapping itself becomes part of the gift. A small reminder to transform waste into wonder. All sale proceeds from this especial day will fund our nonprofit of choice: The Fashion Community, a 501c3 Human Services Agency impacting Central Ohio families.

📅 How It Works for In-Person Shopping Experience

Appointments are required — this day is intimate by design. Choose your time slot (30-minute sessions beginning at 12pm throughout 5pm), and come as yourself.

Bring a friend. Two people can share one time slot, making this a moment to shop together, decide together, celebrate together.

Can't make it in person? We've got you covered.

Book a virtual appointment and we'll connect with you via FaceTime. Browse our curated collection from home, tell us about the person you're shopping for, and we'll show you pieces that fit what you're looking for. Once you've found something special, we'll wrap it with the same intention and care as an in-person purchase — using sustainable materials and our own touch. Then simply pick it up at your earliest convenience. No rush.

Can't make an appointment mid-afternoon? No problem. We're open for walk-ins after 5:00pm — come as you are, browse, find what speaks to you. (Just know that walk-in shoppers won't have access to complimentary wrapping, but you're absolutely welcome here.)
