MOVEMENT, BREATH and VOICE with Keith Morino and Fides Krucker

A three-part workshop (9 hours in total) designed to promote the participant's integration of breath, movement and vocal sound through playful research, as well as expand creative possibility in response to felt impulse.

Keith and Fides have been co-teaching single sessions for a few years now. Their individual, decades-long practices work together symbiotically on accessible interoceptive levels, and as fuel for improvisation and creation. The three sessions will explore this mutuality, the complex and sometimes differing needs of movement and voice, as well as the body’s innate capacity to break patterns and surprise artistically. Their synergistic pedagogy is of use to dancers, actors, singers and anyone interested in expanding movement, breath and sound in everyday life.
