Adirondack Mountain Club

This training day is geared toward Trail Stewards but is also open to Lean-to Adopters who want to get out and do some sidecutting and blowdown removal.

We will be meeting at the Cisco Brook trailhead at 9am and hiking for about 2 and a half hours. We will then turn around and work our way back, sidecutting and clearing blowdown along the way. We will be hiking a total of 7 to 10 miles throughout the day, depending on how fast we work and how much brush and blowdown we encounter. I will be providing all necessary tools, but if you would like, feel free to bring your own as well (loppers, clippers, saws, axes). Bring water, snacks, and lunch!
