The basic carbine fundamentals course is a focused, entry‑level class designed to build confident, safe, and consistent rifle handling skills. It teaches students how to operate a carbine effectively through proven core techniques. The course emphasizes safety, foundational marksmanship, and practical weapon manipulation so participants leave with reliable skills they can apply in training or real‑world use.

Minimum required documents and equipment:

1. Photo ID
2. Eye protection
3. Hearing protection
4. Rifle/Carbine (NOTE: This class is specific to the AR15, AK’s, bullpups, and other platforms are not accepted)
5. Sling is mandatory (2-point slings are preferred)
6. Magazines (3 minimum)
7. Ammunition (minimum 500 rounds)
8. Appropriate range attire (long pants, closed toed shoes, brimmed hat, thick belt)
9. Open mind, good attitude, and an inquisitive curiosity.

Optional but recommended:

1. Magazine pouch
2. Note-taking materials (notebook, pen, etc)
3. Range Bag
4. Rain Gear
5. Snacks and water
