Abstraction Techniques with Steve Rose
Course Overview: In this workshop, participants will explore several approaches to making their studio work more abstract, pushing their creativity towards new forms and ideas that express thoughts, feelings and artistic outcomes. Steve will help you draw out and define your ideas around subject matter, providing individual guidance in both technique and composition. Emphasis will be placed on experimentation, creative exploration and stepping outside your comfort zone to discover fresh approaches and unexpected results. This workshop is an opportunity to challenge familiar ways of working, explore new possibilities and develop greater confidence in your own approach to abstraction.
