Online
Objectives of this Course
- Enhance Professional Growth & Reflective Practice – Provide a structured environment for new teachers to set growth goals, engage in focused inquiry cycles, and develop reflective teaching practices that support retention and long-term growth.
- Foster Collaboration & Mentor Development – Create opportunities for cross-site collaboration, as well as to practice coaching skills to support the development of future teacher mentors.
During Cycle 1 Meeting #2
Participants will practice supporting other group members with a Reflective Coaching Conversation that is centered on the data that was collected for their group member’s inquiry cycle. Participants will then have a chance to reflect and ask questions based on their experiences using the coaching conversations.
This is an after school virtual meeting. Participants will be paid academic hourly rate.
Participants who complete 2 inquiry cycles will also be eligible to register and earn 1 unit from CSUF.
