Join a Fire & Form class and explore the exciting world of alternative firing! Participate in Raku Firing, a dynamic process known for its unpredictable results, and luminous surfaces. Learn each step of the process from loading & unloading to safety and the final exciting step of cleaning pieces to reveal their shine!
Students will need to bring 2-4 pieces of their own bisqueware for raku made of high fire clay, cone 6-10 raku or white stoneware.
Size Limit: Please bring small-to medium-sized pieces, approximately the size of a mug or bowl. Pieces should be no larger than 6–7 inches in height or width.
