Distance Learning: Start and finish this course anytime within 3 months.

The course covers NZQA Unit Standard 4646 (The Law) and Unit Standard 16705 (Host Responsibility). These units provide the training you need when you apply to the Council for your Manager’s Certificate.

The distance learning course is a good option for people who prefer to study at their own pace or who find it difficult to attend a classroom course.

You can start the course as soon as you receive the access email. You have up to three months to complete the course.

You can choose how you would like to receive the course manual:

• PDF only. $220, including qualification and GST. The Managers Guide and other resources are downloaded from within the course.
• Printed book couriered to you. $250, including postage. You also receive the Managers Guide as an A4 softcover book of 67 pages. The course is completed online, and the book is handy for revision during quiet periods at work when you have no computer access. Keep it as a handy reference for your Managers Certificate interview, your certificate renewal, and your career in licensed premises.

The training is completed online using training videos, explanations, and a review quiz for each area of the course.

After you complete all the review quizzes, you will be able to access the final exam.
