The course covers NZQA unit 4646 (The Law) and unit 16705 (Host Responsibility) and these will give you the relevant training required when you apply to the Council for your Manager’s Certificate. 

This online classroom based course is one day and gives you access to one of our qualified specialist tutors who is able to answer questions through the course, and share useful industry knowledge and stories to help give you context to the information.

The exam is completed online in your own time, within 2 weeks of the course date.

Your registration email includes a link to download the Managers Guide, the answers to its revision questions, and the course PowerPoint. A recording of the session is emailed to you after the class.

You can choose how you would like to receive the Managers Guide when registering:

• PDF only - $220: Access and download the Manager's Guide through your resources link in your registration email.
• Printed Book - $250: The Managers Guide as an A4 softcover book of 67 pages will be couriered to you. Make notes and highlight as you go. Keep it as a handy reference for your Managers Certificate interview, your certificate renewal, and your career in licensed premises.
