Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. Grades 4–7

Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio.

Through contemporary Disney favourites, timeless classics and exciting medleys, the trainees explore what it means to dream big, discover their strengths and find the courage to make those dreams a reality.

Cast Opportunities

This is a strong ensemble-based production, which makes it an excellent show for performers with different levels of experience.

Approximately 6–8 featured/lead trainee roles, depending on how roles are divided

Numerous featured singing and speaking opportunities

A large ensemble can be accommodated

Many opportunities for cast members to appear in multiple musical numbers and portray different characters.

Thursday, September 10 & Friday, September 11

5:00–9:00 PM both evenings

Arrival - Everyone auditioning must be onsite by 4:45 PM.

We initially announced that audition time slots would be available. After further consideration, we have decided to return to our original audition format.

When performers arrive:

Each performer will draw an audition number. Performers may swap numbers amongst themselves.. Once your audition is complete, you are free to leave.

Prepare: Approximately 2 minutes of a Disney song that fits your personality and vocal ability.. Choose something that allows us to see YOU!

Acting - There is no need to prepare a monologue. We will provide a reading at the audition.

Come ready to chat with us, have some fun and show us your best theatrical self! We aren't expecting perfection. We want to see your personality, potential, preparation and willingness to jump in.

IMPORTANT — ALL AUDITION TRACKS MUST BE INSTRUMENTAL OR KARAOKE TRACKS.
