INTERNATIONAL COACH WORKSHOP (VILNIUS) - 2-DAY TICKET

WORKSHOP 1 - 10 AND UNDER DOUBLES: DEVELOPING GAME SKILLS AND LIFE SKILLS FROM THE ORANGE COURT (13TH JANUARY 2027)

Workshop description: A one-day International Coach Workshop which provides an insight into how doubles can be introduced to young players on the Orange court. The workshop shows how both game skills and life skills can be developed side by side through activities and drills which focus on developing game understanding, tactics, decision-making, teamwork and communication in the main game situations on the doubles court.

Workshop duration: 6.5 hours including breaks

Workshop learning outcomes:

By attending this workshop you will:

• get ideas on how to introduce doubles to young players from the orange court programme
• gain insight into how to develop teamwork and communication in doubles with young players
• take away ideas on how to start introducing some simple patterns of play involving all 4 players
• understand how to use doubles to develop life skills in young players beyond the tennis court
• get a wide range of activities, games and drills to implement into your junior programme immediately

WORKSHOP 2 - THE PROGRESSION TO THE ORANGE COURT: DEVELOPING THE ALL-COURT GAME (14TH JANUARY 2027)

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

A one-day International Coach Workshop which covers key technical and tactical information to help your young players continue their development when they progress to the Orange court

Workshop duration: 6.5 hours including breaks

Workshop learning outcomes:

• Understanding the new playing environment on the Orange court
• Evolving and developing key strokes and other skills for the 18m court
• Introducing appropriate patterns of play for the Orange court
• Preparing players for the progression to the Green court

Attendees will receive a certificate for attendance at both workshops, and an electronic version of the workshop training manuals.

ABOUT YOUR PRESENTER

Mark is a Founder and Director of Coach Central International, a UK-based worldwide coach education provider. Mark is an experienced and sought-after international tennis coach educator, speaker and consultant, who has worked with coaches from over 100 countries around the world.
