Illinois Concealed Carry
This class covers the legal requirements for a Concealed Carry class in Illinois, with additional emphasis on deciding whether to carry or own a gun, conflict avoidance, and non-lethal self-defense. We additionally go into equipment and considerations for how to carry. This is a small class size experience, with emphasis on helping even new shooters feel comfortable handling firearms and using them in the shooting range environment.
On Day 2 we will start at Shore Galleries (3318 W Devon Ave, Lincolnwood, IL 60712) at 10am for qualification, then return to the classroom to finish instruction.
What we'll cover over the two days includes, but is not limited to:
- Introduction to Firearms
- FOID cards and laws
- Introduction to Illinois Firearms Transportation Laws
- Introduction to Federal Firearms Laws
- Introduction to Illinois Carry Law
- Officer Interaction
- Justifiable Use of Force
- Concealed Carry equipment, positions, and other considerations
Please review all of our policies on our Policy Page, and be prepared to sign a waiver once you arrive to class. Your class fee includes range fee, use of a 9mm handgun for practice and qualification, up to 50 rounds of ammunition, targets, and use of hearing protection and eye protection.
