Making Music with Young Children, All Levels : In Person Workshop in 2 Parts!

This 2 level in-person workshop is for anyone working with young children, whether you took a workshop with Guitars and Ukes in the Classroom (GITC) before or you are new to us, and to ukulele.

These workshops are free, thanks to support from the National Endowment for the Arts, with ukuleles supplied for you on a proptietary grant from the Dr. Suess Foundation Trustee Lucia Garay through the San Diego Foundation.

PART 1

9 a.m.-10:30 Returning Teachers Only: Completion of Part 1 or both Part 1 and Part 2 of our ECE Workshop or a ECE Uke Courses. We will focus on musical implementation with children for calming, relationship building, transitions, and adaptative strategies, aligned with the Teaching Pyramid Model.

PART 2

10:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m. No Pre-requisite. This hour is for Total Beginners only. Total Beginners- need a uke? Please fill this survey out and we will bring one for you to the workshop. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WM2WXDK
