2026-2027 GENUP

The General Update is the required four-hour class every active North Carolina broker takes each license year, refreshed for 2026 with real changes, not a review of things you already know.

This session works through six current, practical topics that affect your day-to-day practice: the new appraisal forms and their 2026 effective dates, the questions the Commission actually gets asked, seller impersonation fraud and how to spot it, fair housing developments including withdrawn HUD guidance, this year's license law and rule changes effective April 1 and July 1, and the latest on licensing and education requirements.

It's taught the way Level Up Learning teaches everything: live discussion, real case scenarios, and interactive games, not a lecture you're counting down until it ends.

Learning Objectives

  • Apply the 2026 UAD 3.6 appraisal form changes and know their effective dates and your obligations as a broker
  • Recognize the Commission's most common broker questions and how they're being answered
  • Identify red flags for seller impersonation fraud and apply fraud-prevention best practices
  • Explain recent fair housing developments, including withdrawn HUD memos and current complaint trends
  • Summarize the license law and Commission rule changes effective April 1 and July 1, 2026
  • Describe current licensing and continuing education requirements
