Building Wealth Through Residential Real Estate
Investors don't buy on emotion; they buy on returns. This elective teaches you the numbers behind why residential real estate builds lasting wealth, so you can run them yourself and speak your investor clients' language.
You'll work through leverage (how financing multiplies the return on the cash an investor actually puts in), cash flow and appreciation, the tax benefits of investing including depreciation and deferring gain on sale, how to determine an investor's criteria and match them to the right property, and additional strategies like owner-occupied income property, Delaware Statutory Trusts, and REITs.
Five units, hands-on calculations, an investor-matching activity, and real-world examples, taught live and interactively like every Level Up Learning class.
