Fascia Series III- Balancing the Life Force: Connective Tissue Techniques for the Upper Body - 15 CE

FASCIA SERIES III - BALANCING THE LIFE FORCE - CONNECTIVE TISSUE TECHNIQUES FOR THE UPPER BODY - 15 CE

*** Prerequisite: Fascia Fundamentals (unless you have taken classes with me in the past)

Tuesday 9/21 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (one hour break for lunch) - Torso / Spine

Wednesday 9/22 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (one hour break for lunch) - Shoulder / Arms

Thursday 9/23 from: 9:00 AM - Noon - Cervical Spine / Skull

Discover how the soft tissues of the torso support movement of the rib cage and spine, creating space that encourages breath and supports both heart and lung function — the two essentials for life. Just as the legs extend from the pelvis, the shoulders and arms extend from the rib cage, we'll follow that same thread outward: exploring the central nervous system's role in movement, tension patterns, and the body's capacity to heal — addressing and treating common pathologies including rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet syndrome, and tendinopathies of the arm joints.

  • Students will: Gain deeper knowledge of the anatomy and connective tissue relationships of the torso, thorax, shoulder girdle, and skull
  • Develop postural assessment skills of the upper body
  • Explore the most common structural problems and injuries of the upper body
  • Evaluate and execute the best treatment strategies for the above conditions
  • Perform and demonstrate connective tissue techniques for the torso, thorax, and shoulder gird
