WEEKEND OPEN STUDIO — REGISTRATION

Saturdays and Sundays · $50 per person

2026 Open Studio Dates: 10/11 (Sunday), 10/18 (Sunday), 10/25 (Sunday), 12/5 (Saturday), 12/12 (Saturday)

What this session is:

A self-directed studio session for fully independent sewers ages 10 and up. You work on your own project using our professional machines and basic supplies. An instructor is present for machine troubleshooting only — this is not a class and ongoing instruction is not included.

What this session is not:

This is not a beginner class. If you need regular guidance, step-by-step instruction, or consistent instructor support throughout, please enroll in one of our group or private classes instead — where an instructor is fully available for you from start to finish. Registering for Open Studio when you are not yet an independent sewer is not grounds for a refund.

What's included:

✓ Professional sewing machines — Juki, Bernina, Singer, Brother, and others

✓ Basic studio supplies: thread, needles, scissors, cutting mats, irons, markers, rulers and more

✓ A curated selection of pre-loved garments for upcycling (limited selection; availability is not guaranteed)

✓ Fabric scraps for upcycled projects (selection varies by session)

What to bring:

Your project, your pattern, your specific fabrics and notions. Do not rely on studio materials to complete your project. Some additional materials (i.e.: patches, vintage beads) may be available for purchase on-site but are not guaranteed.

Pricing:

✓ $50 flat fee per person, per session

✓ Fee covers up to 3 hours of studio time regardless of actual time used

✓ No partial fees, no pro-rated pricing, no exceptions

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

✓ All sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

✓ No-shows forfeit their full registration fee with no credit, transfer, or rescheduling offered.

✓ Late arrivals are welcome within the session window but no additional time or fee adjustment will be provided.

✓ Columbus Fashion Academy reserves the right to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a CFA-initiated cancellation, registrants will receive a full refund or session credit at CFA's discretion.

Per-Person Booking:

Each ticket is per person. All attendees must have their own registration. Groups (e.g. parent and child, BFFs) must book individual tickets for each participant (despite participant age).

Liability & Studio Conduct:

✓ Participants under age 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to participation.

✓ Columbus Fashion Academy is not responsible for personal injury resulting from improper machine use or failure to follow instructor guidance.

✓ Participants are expected to treat machines, tools, and studio materials with care. Damage resulting from misuse may be charged to the participant.

✓ CFA reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the session without refund if conduct is disruptive or unsafe.
