This planning session brings 1st and 2nd grade teachers together to intentionally plan math instruction using the Imagine Learning math curriculum and current classroom resources. Grade level teams will unpack upcoming units, analyze student thinking and common misconceptions, and collaboratively plan lessons that integrate Thinking Maps for visualizing mathematical reasoning, hands-on manipulatives for building conceptual understanding, and Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Pedagogy (CLRP) practices to ensure instruction is accessible and relevant to all learners.
