This program provides comprehensive, hands-on instruction at your facility for the proper use, safe operation, and maintenance of CINCINNATI Lasers. To help maximize the return on your equipment investment, we strongly recommend that attendees have prior metal cutting or maintenance experience.

🛠️ Covered Laser Models & Tracks

Our onsite training programs are specifically tailored for your installed CINCINNATI CL-900 Series system. We offer three flexible tracks depending on your shop's needs:

  • Operator Training (4-Day): Focuses entirely on process operation, programming, and safe part production.
  • Frame Maintenance Training (4-Day): Focuses on mechanical/electrical upkeep and troubleshooting. (Please note: this does not include laser light source training.)
  • Accelerated Combo ([X]-Day): A fast-paced track combining both Operator and Maintenance curriculums for cross-trained personnel.

Operator Track:

  • Machine Introduction & Process Theory
  • Safety, Machine Controls, Programming
  • Set-Up & Operation, and Applications

Maintenance Track:

  • Machine Introduction, Electrical and Mechanical Schematics, General Part Identification
  • General Laser Theory, Height sensing and Z-axis, Safety, Gas, Lube and Cooling
  • Set-Up & Operation, Motion Control, 7-Step Troubleshooting
  • Maintenance and Adjustments, Technical Manual Overview, and Machine Systems

👥 Class Size & Add-Ons

  • Operator & Maintenance Tracks: Includes up to 6 participants. You may add up to 4 additional participants for $250 each.
  • Accelerated Combo Track: Includes up to 10 participants.
  • Note: To ensure the highest quality of hands-on instruction, all laser classes are strictly capped at a maximum of 10 total participants.

💼 Logistics & What is Included

Included in your registration:

  • Dedicated instruction from a certified CI Training Specialist on your shop floor
  • All training manuals and materials
  • Travel and living expenses for the CI Training Specialist

Not included (Customer Responsibility):

  • The CINCINNATI laser must be fully installed, powered, and operational prior to the Training Specialist's arrival.
  • The facility must provide appropriate scrap/sheet material and gases for test cutting and hands-on exercises.

⚠️ SCHEDULING WARNING: Please do not finalize your onsite training dates until your machine installation is complete and fully operational. If the Training Specialist arrives and the machine is not ready for operation, training may need to be rescheduled at the customer's expense.
