Format:
- Online: Self-paced (approx. 4–8 hours; link will be sent ahead of in-class session)
- In-Person: One full day
Overview:
This course combines online learning with one day of hands-on training. It is ideal for workplace requirements or anyone wanting to be prepared for emergencies at home. Meets provincial safety standards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Certification:
Successful participants receive a 3-year Intermediate First Aid & CPR Level C certification.
Participants will learn:
- Emergency scene management and patient assessment
- CPR and AED skills for adults, children, and infants
- Airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies
- Wound care and bleeding control
- Management of fractures, sprains, and other injuries
- Response to sudden medical emergencies and environmental illnesses
