THE CREATIVITY CRISIS: HOW STORY CREATES COHERENCE

Humanity is facing a creativity crisis. At a time when we need new ways to care for ourselves, lead our communities, strengthen our relationships, and solve complex problems, many of us keep returning to familiar ideas and familiar patterns. What if the greatest obstacle to creating something new isn't a lack of intelligence or talent, but the story you carry about yourself and the world?

Research in neuroscience, psychoneuroimmunology, and narrative psychology suggests that your story does much more than explain your life. It shapes the way your brain interprets experience. It influences your nervous system, affects your immune system, and guides the choices you make every day.

The stories you inherit from your family, your culture, and even the archetypes you admire, become the lens through which you understand what is possible. Many of those stories once helped you survive. Today, some of them may limit your imagination, narrow your perspective or keep you repeating familiar patterns instead of creating new possibilities.

In this session, you'll explore the science behind personal narrative and discover how intentional storytelling can help you restore coherence and expand what you believe is possible - and, ultimately, steer the future we are dreaming into being.
