Leading Through Uncertainty: A Collective Care Series
Agate Social Works & INDIGO Education have partnered to offer a four-part virtual series for school and organizational leaders navigating today's shifting expectations and demands.
Each session pairs peer connection and shared problem-solving with focused, practical content, a shared space for honest discussion of challenges, and tools to move forward.
BOSA & General CEUs will be provided
Four sessions | Virtual | 11:30-1:00pm
- Wednesday, November 11, 2026

- Wednesday, February 17, 2027
- Wednesday, March 10, 2027
Session 1 - Naming the Mess: Leading Without All the Answers
Grounding session — normalizing the uncertainty leaders are facing, building trust as a group, and introducing a shared framework (e.g., what's in vs. out of our control) for the series.
Session 2 - The Weight We Carry: Vicarious Stress & Sustainable Leadership
Focus on leader burnout, secondary trauma, and capacity. Content piece on nervous-system/stress basics; discussion time on what's actually depleting people right now.
Session 3 - Hard Conversations, Held Well
Practical skill-building on navigating conflict — with staff, families, boards — while under pressure. Peer troubleshooting of real current situations.
Session 4 - Leading Forward: Collective Care as Strategy, Not Add-On
Closing session — how to build sustainable systems of support into leadership practice going forward (not just personal coping). Space to reflect on what's shifted across the series and commit to next steps.
