Parker Art School

Fundamentals of Drawing is a fun, confidence-building introduction to drawing designed especially for ages 6–9. Students learn how to look at the world like an artist by recognizing simple shapes and combining them to create animals, objects, and imaginative scenes. Each lesson gives young artists plenty of room to make the project their own while exploring colorful mediums like markers, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and watercolor. All supplies are provided, so students can simply show up ready to create! At the end of the session, families are invited to our special Cookie Party Art Show, where students get to proudly share their artwork, celebrate everything they’ve learned, and enjoy treats with their families.
