Sep 28, 5-9pm classroom  This is for the full class, Renewal and Refresher
Oct 11 2-6pm Alpha range; Hour 1 is for renewal and refresher qualification shooting.

Oct 14, 19, 21, 26 5pm-8pm Alpha range

Renewal and Refresher students must attend the Sep 28 class, and the first hour of the Oct 11 class. (unless other arrangements are made).
Full class students: You can miss either the 19 or the 21'st class, but must attend the rest of the weekday classes.

Costs:

 - $165 for the full 15 hour class
 - $45 for the 4 hour renewal class
 - $25 for the 2 hour refresher class
  All classes will also have a $20 in cash for range consumables, (targets, staplers, etc)

All monies beyond actual costs for materials will be donated to benefit the Los Alamos Sportsmen's Club.
 
Requirements:

  • A major caliber handgun (380 acp and up) that you already know how to shoot;
  • A strong side Outside the Waistband Holster NOT woven nylon!!! This must be designed for your gun!
  • 250 rounds of practice ammo (buy on http://ammoseek.com for the best price)
  • At LEAST 2 magazines or speedloaders for revolvers.
  • Mag pouches that fit your magazines/speedloaders
  • Eye and Ear protection, ELECTRONIC EAR MUFFS PREFERRED
  • $20 for range supplies, in CASH. (targets, etc).
You do not need to shoot the instructional course with the same guns you intend to qualify with (i.e. shoot the class with a 9mm, qualify with a 45 auto and a 44 magnum revolver). You will need 25 rounds for each of 2 possible qualifying handguns (The largest caliber in each of the "semi-auto" and "other" categories).
