Wheel Throwing — Single Session

Never touched a pottery wheel? This is your night. In one two-hour session, you'll sit down at the wheel and learn the basics from the ground up: centering, opening, and pulling up your walls to shape your own piece. No experience needed. We'll be right beside you for every step, especially centering, the part everyone worries about.

With never more than four students at the wheel, you get plenty of hands-on help and room to have fun with it. Your first bowl might wobble, or it might surprise you.

After class, we'll trim, glaze, and fire your best piece for you. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready to pick up.

It's a perfect first step if you've been curious about the wheel, and a great way to see if the 4-Week or 6-Week Series is for you.

All clay, tools, glazes, and firing included. Wear clothes you can get messy in. Seats are booked individually.
