Florida Complete Carry Course
Start here. Learn the law. Build the fundamentals. Prove them on the range.
The Florida Complete Carry Course is Alpha One Firearms Training Academy’s comprehensive starting point for responsible firearm ownership and carry in Florida.
Designed for both first-time and experienced firearm owners, this hands-on course goes beyond simply meeting a training requirement. Students learn the legal responsibilities of carrying a firearm in Florida, develop essential handgun safety and shooting fundamentals, practice those skills in a controlled simulator environment, and finish with live-fire training at a partner range.
Whether you are applying for your Florida Concealed Weapon License (CWL), want to understand permitless concealed carry, or want clarity on Florida’s open carry laws, this course gives you a solid legal and practical foundation.

The goal is not simply to fire a qualifying round. Students are expected to demonstrate safe gun handling and fundamental handgun accuracy before completing the course.
