STEM East

Wayne Community College is inviting local students to participate in Careers in the Air hosted by the Aviation Department at WCC. Participating students will be able to explore the aviation department at the Wayne Executive Jet Port along with our personalized hanger and neighboring hangers. Students will also learn the physics of aviation by interacting with small scale trainers that mock the full scale trainers. By introducing dynamic, tactile learning environments, this project aims to clarify complex aerodynamic principles, bolster student engagement, and build a robust enrollment pipeline for the next generation of aviation professionals.

This small group event is intended for up to 50 selected local middle and high school students.
