Cragside, Northumberland
Join us for a five-night stay in this beautiful part of the world. We shall be staying in two National Trust holiday cottages on the Cragside Estate. Cragside Park Cottage is a fine example of a Victorian Arts and Crafts style house and Cragside Garden Cottage was the house built by Victorian inventor, Lord Armstrong. We will have access to explore the main Victorian house free of charge as well as the miles of paths across the estate. Cragside was the first place in the world to be lit with hydroelectricity and is a showpiece of engineering prowess. We will also be heading out to the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as the Cheviot Hills (hopefully including The Cheviot (815m)) and the Northumberland moorland.
We will be group catering for evening meals and may go out for one meal too.
Places are limited at this moderate plus event so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Bookings are now open and will close on 01 March 2027.
