At Full Volume is an adult painting workshop inspired by SATURATION, projectART’s current group exhibition exploring vivid color, visual intensity, and the idea of fullness.

Artist Olivia Gray will demonstrate her process for creating richly textured, layered backgrounds with acrylic paint, exploring how color, texture, and accumulation can build visual intensity. Participants will then develop their own dynamic composition around a subject of their choice, experimenting with layering, contrast, and saturated color.

Whether you gravitate toward bold color or want to push yourself beyond your usual palette, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore what happens when you turn the volume up. Each participant will leave with an original painting and a deeper understanding of the techniques and creative process behind Olivia's work and the ideas explored throughout SATURATION.

No experience necessary. All materials provided.

Teacher Bio:

Olivia Gray is a contemporary painter based in the Texas Hill Country. She has degrees in studio art, environmental studies, and Montessori education with three years of experience as a Montessori lead teacher. Appreciation for nature is central to her art practice, and she finds inspiration from her home on a farm in Wimberley.
