In this class Anna from Fabritzia Design will show you how to carve a design and print onto paper which we will fold into a paper star ready for Christmas decorating. Paper stars have long appeared across Europe and beyond. In Scandinavia and parts of central Europe, illuminated stars are closely associated with Advent and the darker winter months. As the nights draw in, we light windows, gather around tables and find ways to make the darker months feel warmer.

You will leave the workshop with your carved Lino plates, your finished star and a detailed list of the equipment we have used and where it can be purchased from.

Anna is a freelance designer and printmaker, working from her studio in North Yorkshire. Anna has been printmaking for 25 years. Her work has been featured in Ideal Home and on the new Channel 4 series ‘Craft it Yourself’. She produces her own range of handprinted art and stationary which she sells on Etsy.
