This induction is designed to provide employees with a clear understanding of the Ball plant's objectives, performance expectations, and the role every individual plays in achieving operational excellence. The session aligns employees with the site's vision, goals, and standards to ensure a safe, productive, and customer-focused working environment.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- The plant's vision, mission, and key business objectives
- Ball's commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People
- Individual roles and responsibilities in achieving site goals
- Expected standards of behaviour, professionalism, and teamwork
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how performance is measured
- Customer focus and the importance of meeting customer requirements
- Continuous Improvement principles and employee involvement
- Communication and escalation processes
- Environmental and sustainability objectives
- Accountability, ownership, and compliance with company policies and procedures
The induction ensures employees understand what is expected of them as members of the Ball team and how their daily actions contribute to the overall success of the plant. It reinforces the importance of working safely, maintaining high-quality standards, supporting operational targets, and demonstrating Ball's values in everything they do.
