Dust off your sewing machine and put it to work! In this hands-on 90-minute session, we’ll make a simple patchwork tote bag while building confidence with some of the sewing skills that make everyday projects easier.

Whether you’re still getting comfortable with your machine or you’re an experienced sewist looking for a fun, low-pressure project, you’ll leave with practical tips, a little more sewing confidence and, hopefully, a finished tote bag.

Most supplies will be provided. Participants should to bring their own sewing machine, thread and scissors. If you’d really like to participate but don’t have access to a machine, please contact Hannah Brown (hbrown@loyalistcollege.com) and I’ll see what I can arrange.
