BeJEWELed - Clay Jewelry Making Workshop
Ceramic Jewelry
3-Week Clay Workshop
Turn clay into wearable art in this three-week ceramic jewelry workshop! Students will explore a variety of sculpting, texturing, and surface design techniques to create unique handmade jewelry.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll experiment with different forms and decorative techniques to create a collection of pieces such as earrings, pendants, pins, charms, and beads. We’ll explore how texture, pattern, shape, and color can transform small pieces of clay into wearable artwork.
This is a great class for both beginners and experienced ceramic artists who want to explore working on a smaller scale and experiment with new creative techniques.
By the end of the three weeks, you’ll have several finished ceramic jewelry pieces to take home and wear or share!
No wheel instruction will be provided during this workshop. Students will make jewlelry pieces using hand-building techniques. Students should be comfortable making their own vessels before enrolling.
Students will meet with their instructor for the first 3 weeks and can then use the remaining 3 weeks of the session to make additional jewelry pieces during open studio.
