Open Shoot – Pistol Marksmanship (Skill Builder Session)

The Open Shoot – Pistol Marksmanship Session is designed for students looking to refine and reinforce their foundational pistol skills in a structured, instructor-led environment. This is not an introductory course, but a guided practice session focused on improving consistency, accuracy, and confidence through purposeful repetition and coaching.

Participants will work through a series of drills aimed at strengthening core fundamentals while receiving real-time feedback to correct inefficiencies and build better shooting habits.

Skills & Focus Areas:

• Reinforcement of marksmanship fundamentals (grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control)
• Accuracy and consistency at varying distances
• Controlled cadence and shot accountability
• Target transition and recoil management
• Diagnostic coaching to identify and correct shooting deficiencies
• Introduction to basic pistol optic use and zeroing (for those running optics)

This session provides a low-pressure, high-value training environment where students can sharpen their skills, ask questions, and build confidence on the range.

• Students who have completed a Defensive Pistol Level 1 (or basic pistol training courses)

• Handgun (Pistol Only)
• Ammunition that matches your firearm

• Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor training
