Difficult Run MB Day

One of the most important skills any scout can possess is the ability to render First Aid. Whether to another scout, a friend, a lived one, or a stranger, what YOU know and what YOU do can save someone's life.

Whether or not you have a bag of bandages handy is not nearly as important as knowing what to do and how to coordinate the actions of others around you. You are NOT a medic or a nurse or a doctor, you are a FIRST RESPONDER and it is your job to keep an emergency situation under control, either by communications, directions, skills, or, yes, applying bandages, until help arrives.

In the FIRST AID MERIT BADGE class, we will satisfy the requirements for ALL ranks AND achieve the Eagle Scout required FIRST AID MERIT BADGE.

Regardless of the tangible accomplishments you carry away, you will establish the foundation of how to handle yourself and an emergency situation which will serve you a lifetime.
