CANVAS Dance Arts

A fun approach to hip hop where dancers build agility, improve coordination, and practice footwork. Students are challenged to learn 8 – 16 count combinations while performing with confidence. Strike a pose!

Level I classes are 50 minutes in length. Unless invited into the studio by the instructor, grown-ups may wait in the hallway or backstage during this class.

This class is a Full Session and concludes with a stage performance.

Dates: Jan 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 24, Mar 3, 10, 17, 24, Apr 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19 (NO CLASS Feb 17, Mar 31, Apr 7)

**Full Session performing classes participate in our Spring Recital on Sunday, May 23. Your session fee includes: recital participation and a recital costume.

Performance Location: Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street, SF (map)

Performance Time: TBA midway through the session. Please note siblings or dancers in two classes may participate in separate shows.

On performance day, dancers should provide their own:

• black pants
• tan jazz shoes
• hair in a tight ponytail

Registration notes

• Dancers take 2 or more years in each Level. Students in Grades 1-3 may enroll in Level I and students in Grades 3+ may enroll in Level I+ or Level II. Level III requires instructor approval to enroll
• Priority registration for the following session will be offered to currently enrolled students
• Register only once, duplicate registrations will not receive a full refund
