The Tactical Tutor

The shotgun is one of the most effective tools for home defense — and one of the most misunderstood. In this focused 4-hour session, you'll learn to safely handle, store, aim, and operate a pump or semi-automatic shotgun from the ground up, with an experienced instructor guiding every step. We cover ammunition selection, the push-pull recoil technique, three reload methods, and the decision-making framework you need before you ever press a trigger. Class size is capped at 10 students so every participant gets individual coaching, not just a seat in a crowd. No prior experience required — just a willingness to learn the right way from the start.

Requirements:

Shotgun in good working order (pump or automatic)

100 rounds of appropriate ammo (Birdshot is just fine for this class, if you want to bring some 00 buckshot to test it out feel free)

Ears/Eyes and a willingness to learn.

Cancellation, Transfer and Refund Policy

Class sizes are small, so every seat matters. Here's how cancellations work:

• 72 hours or more before class: Cancel for a full refund.
• 48 to 72 hours before class: No refund, but you can transfer your seat to a future date of the same class or to another person.
• Less than 48 hours before class: No refund and no transfer.
• No-shows: No refund. Arriving after the safety briefing counts as a no-show. The briefing comes first in every class, and I can't let anyone on the line who missed it.
• If I cancel (weather, range closure or emergency): You'll get a full refund or a credit toward a future class, your choice.
