TEEN Cyanotype Printmaking Workshop
In this class, you will leave with five to seven unique cyanotype prints as well as enough knowledge of the process to be able to explore further independently. You will be able to print using physical objects, or you can submit one of your own photograph from your personal camera roll to be able to make unique photorealistic prints. You won't need any background knowledge to get something out of this class, the instructor is an experienced high school art teacher that has taught this process to beginners for over six years.

Although the steps to Cyanotype will be procedural, each student's creative ideas will be supported so that they walk away with something truly unique and personalized to them.

**For this class we will be using paper, but if you would like to try the technique on cloth you may bring ONE item- your own light-colored t-shirt, tote-bag, or scrap of cloth. If bringing a scrap make sure it's at least 8.5x11. The cloth items do not have to be new, cyanotype is great for upcycling!
***If you want to submit ONE photograph to use during the class, an email will be sent a week before class begins to submit that photo.
Automatic discounts applied for siblings. Reach out to Chanel at education@vergecontemporary.org regarding potential scholarship opportunities!
