The Comedy Arena Training Center

Improv Space Work Master Class with Von Daniel

Make the invisible believable.

An empty stage can become a crowded kitchen, a fishing boat, or a workshop if you make us believe it.

In this six-week master class at The Comedy Arena Training Center, advanced improvisers will strengthen their object work, build consistent environments, and use physical choices to deepen characters and relationships.

Through focused exercises and scene work, you’ll practice giving imaginary objects believable size, weight, and resistance; sharing a physical world with your scene partners; and maintaining an activity while the emotional life of a scene unfolds. You’ll also explore how movement, stillness, and everyday tasks can reveal what dialogue leaves unsaid.

Led by Von Daniel, this class challenges you to slow down, commit to details, and let your physical choices carry more of the story.

For experienced improvisers ready to bring greater specificity, presence, and physical storytelling to the stage.

Join Von Daniel at The Comedy Arena Training Center for 3 other distinct upcoming master classes: strengthen your Advanced Improv Skills, make the invisible believable with Space Work, bring memorable personalities to life through Character Development, and sharpen your instincts in Short Form. Challenge your habits, expand your range, and bring more confidence to the stage.

👉 Pre-Req: Completion of Comedy Arena’s Level 4 Improv class or completion of another comedy training center equivalent class.
