Night-Jump Equipment

All participants must arrive with properly functioning personal equipment suitable for night operations, including an altimeter that can be illuminated and read in darkness.

VTS will provide strobes and chemical lights to support consistent lighting and visibility standards.

Equipment will be subject to inspection before night operations. Participants with unsuitable or noncompliant equipment will not be permitted to jump.

Registration and Manifest

Advance registration through the VTS website is required for event planning and participant screening.

Participants must commit to a minimum of two night jumps. The $90 registration fee covers two night jumps and VTS-provided night-jump safety lighting (strobes and chemical lights). Parachute systems, altimeters, and other personal skydiving equipment are not included. Participants must provide their own properly equipped, airworthy parachute system and an altimeter capable of being illuminated for night operations.

Safety and Operational Authority

The iSkydive DC Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA) retains responsibility for drop zone safety oversight and operational decisions.

VTS coordinates the training program, safety briefing, equipment requirements, and participant evaluations in cooperation with the DZ S&TA.

VTS reserves the right to deny or discontinue an individual's participation for any reason, including concerns involving experience, currency, equipment, judgment, or safety. Registration does not guarantee authorization to jump.

All night-jump operations are subject to weather, aircraft availability, and drop zone operational approval.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

Advance registration through the VTS website is required. Walk-in participation is not guaranteed.

Participants must commit to a minimum of two night jumps. Jump tickets and payment arrangements will be coordinated with iSkydive DC.

No refunds will be issued for participant cancellations or no-shows once payment has been collected, subject to the final payment and cancellation policy established for the event.

Weather cancellations and operational stand-downs will be handled separately under the applicable refund or credit policy.
