Open Studio: Hand Building
Curious about clay, or ready to make something of your own? Open Studio Handbuilding is a relaxed Saturday morning at the table with clay, tools and other makers around you. First-timers, kids and longtime makers are all welcome.
HOW IT WORKS
We start at 9:00 with a quick 10-minute demo on the basics: pinch, coil, slab, and how to join pieces so they hold together. After that, the time is yours. Project idea cards are on the table if you want a starting point, and our studio attendant can answer basic questions and checks your pieces before they go on the shelf to be fired.
This is not a full class. For step-by-step instruction on a finished project, check out our handbuilding classes.
