Ninety Twenty Workshop

Bring in scrap gold and sterling silver and create a band ring! Learn and practice the process of turning old gold and silver into an ingot and rolling it out into usable metal. Gold can be of any karat or color and can come from old rings, earrings, chains or even tooth fillings! Make sure your old gold jewelry is stamped with 10k, 14k or 18k. Old silver must be marked either "sterling silver" or 925. No other scrap jewelry or anything "gold filled" will be acceptable for this class. Basic alloying, karating, and soldering will be covered in this three session class. No class on April 11. Studio C.
