This program is a guided day hike to Mt. Jo (elevation 2876’). This hike is 2.6 miles round-trip with 754’ of elevation gain.
Please plan on meeting on the Adirondak Loj porch by 8:30 a.m. Please arrive packed and ready to hike. After meeting, we'll go through introductions, a trip overview, and an information briefing. We will then embark on our journey to this summit. The trip will be led by a member of ADK’s professional guide staff team. All ADK professional guides are New York State licensed guides, Wilderness First Responders, and Leave No Trace instructors.
Please review our Essential Eligibility Criteria to understand the fundamental requirements for joining an ADK trip. ADK reserves the right to deny participation if group safety will be compromised through an individual's participation. Prior snowshoeing experience is highly recommended. Good physical condition, proper clothing, and proper equipment are a must.
