Adirondack Mountain Club

This trip meets on the Adirondak Loj porch at 7:30 a.m. Please arrive packed and ready to hike. After meeting, we'll go through introductions, a trip overview, and information briefing. We will then embark on our journey to the summits. The trip will be led by a member of ADK’s professional guide staff team. All ADK professional guides are New York State licensed guides, Wilderness First Responders, and Leave No Trace instructors.

Please note that this hike is particularly susceptible to weather cancellations. This hike includes a water crossing over Indian Pass Brook about 1.5 miles into the hike. Oftentimes the water crossing is frozen over in the winter and straightforward to cross. However, in the event of unusually warm weather or a period of freeze and thaw, the crossing may be impassable. As with any ADK trip, in the event that conditions become known to be unsafe in advance, the trip will be canceled, participants will be notified as soon as possible and receive full refunds.
