CANVAS Dance Arts

A fun approach to Hip Hop and Jazz where dancers build flexibility, improve coordination, and practice turns and leaps. Students are challenged to learn 8 – 16 count combinations while performing with confidence. Strike a pose!

Level I Classes are 50 minutes. Unless invited by the instructor, grown-ups are asked to wait outside the dance studio.

This is a Full session private class for Hamlin 1st grade and concludes with a stage performance.

Dates: Jan 8, 22, 29, Feb 5, 12, 26, Mar 5, 12, 19, 26, Apr 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21 (NO CLASS Jan 15, Feb 19, Apr 2, 9)

**Full Session performing classes participate in our Spring Recital on Sunday, May 23. Your session fee includes: recital participation and a recital costume.

Performance Location: Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street, SF (map)

Performance Time: TBA midway through the session. Please note siblings or dancers in two classes may participate in separate shows.

On performance day, dancers should provide their own:

• black pants
• tan jazz shoes
• hair in a tight ponytail

• This is a private group class and is not open for public registration.
• Priority registration for the following session will be offered to currently enrolled students
• Register only once, duplicate registrations will not receive a full refund
